2.Mohammed Shami’s brother Kaif made debut for Bengal.. Scored duck on debut but picked 3 wickets.. He bats at number 6.. Wonder if he is a much better batsman than Shami

3.Riyan Parag 155(87 balls – 12 sixes) for Assam Vs Chattisgarh… second fastest century in Ranji. One debutant for Assam called Bishal Roy scored 1(63 balls) . Strike rate of 1.58..Wonder if it is the slowest innings on firstclass debut, considering atleast 50 balls

4.Twins Arjit/Arpit Pannu for Chandigarh Vs Railways.. And railways had players Yuvraj Singh and Sahab Yuvraj Singh 😊.. Both are right handers though

5.Gujrat won against TN after conceding first innings lead.. TN got first innings lead because of bowlers Mohammed and Sandeep Warrier, who took 9 wickets among them and then had 100+ partnership at 9th wicket to take TN into lead.. Sai Kishore captained.. I wonder if first time in Ranji

7.Delhi lost against Puducherry.. Gaurav Yadav 7/49.. Interestingly Puducherry is captained by Fabid Ahmed from Thalassery, Kerala.. My place 😊

8.Pujara scored 17th double vs Jharkhand.. There were debutants called Aditya on both sides and one of the got the other one out

12.Kishan Lyngdoh – Meghalaya captain scored 268 Vs Arunachal Pradesh.. First double by a Megalaya player ( not professionals from other states). Ram Gurnung who was making debut made a century and had 300+ partnership with Kishan

13.Agni Chopra made 166 and 92 on debut for Mizoram Vs Sikkim.. Seems like he used to play for Mumbai but had some discipline issues.. Another debutant for Mizoram was KC Kariappa 😊.. he ended with 8 wickets
